Fine Gardening
Fine gardening is a hobby for several people. No matter what your main interest is, be it planting your yard with colorful flowers, planting the right trees, growing vegetables, desire to see your garden with full of most gorgeous roses, anything, chances are that you care about the plants. Yes, gardening can involve into lawn care and landscaping or growing your own food or a great excuse to just play in the dirt. But for the majority of people, gardening is because they just love plants. Proper care and maintenance is needed to make your plant alive and make them look their best.
The first thing you need to consider when you are starting gardening is the type of garden you want to have. There are several types of garden choices which makes it difficult to choose just one.
If you want to make your yard colorful then you need a flower garden which usually consists of perennial flowers. Perennial flowers are basically weeds which can stay healthy year-round due to their hardness. It is the climate and areas which decides whether a flower is perennial or not. Perennial flowers only need attention on planting stage after that, they can take care themselves.
If you are growing vegetables then you need a vegetable garden. Unlike flower gardening it needs a little work. No matter what season of the year it is, you can always find one vegetable that are still prospering. When growing a vegetable garden one should always keep in mind that they will be adding more veggies later for expandability. This helps you to add new crops once the current crops are out of season.
Another type of gardening is fruit gardening. Its more difficult to manage than other two gardens. It needs high maintenance. Pests are more attracted to fruit gardens due to its sweetness. So you have to choose the right pesticide that kills the pests and not whoever eats the fruit. You also need to the add right amount of dirt and fertilizer to make sure that your fruits grow properly. Fruits wont grow year round and they need the right amount of sunlight and nutrition to grow. So when planting other crops during off season will affect the growth of the fruit.
These are the few main garden types people mostly choose. Basically, it all depends on what you really want and how much time you are ready to spend on it.
