You can even pull out those old tables for having a cup of coffee or snacks with the family.

Backyard landscaping can be a bit hectic at times. This is because unlike the front yard, the back yard is used to keep a lot of things out of view from others, like the gardening tools, clothes lines etc. So when you think of backyard landscaping, decide on what you are going to do with the things already resting there. Recycle all what you can and throw away those which cannot be used again. Repaint your backyard walls and fences with lively and cheerful colours. You can try painting patterns and designs as well.

Pull out the weeds, improve the soil quality, plant the seedlings or plantings, create the sidewalks, install the lawn furniture, mend any broken fences, and start loving your backyard. These actions will ensure that your backyard landscaping is beautiful. But you can add more beauty and life to it. Bring your pet cages and kennels to the backyard, create an artificial pond or lake, and put some colourful fishes into it, and spend your evenings there.

If you are planning to retain your cloths line or barbecue at the same position, place your garden furniture a little away from these things. Keep the pots and plants out of the area which is intended to be the play area.
